Health Information Systems are increasingly popular across Africa’s healthcare delivery. This article will discuss the trends, types, rates of adoption and challenges perceived by healthcare settings in Africa. We shall draw inspiration from peer-reviewed publications and grey literature to discuss what is happening in the African continent with respect to digital health.
